where to find plus size cocktail dresses

So what precisely is a cocktail dress? The old lady lets me know a cocktail dress I one that ends around your knees as against being full length. But does it count if it hits mid calf? I have always been confused on this. My mother calls anything around your calf tea length but I believe she made this up ages back. Or her mom made it up and she just stuck with it. I looked up cocktail dresses online and they appear to be in all styles and sizes, they just are not full length robes. There’s a wide range of things available out there. Cocktail dresses for garden parties, some more acceptable for marriages. I even found web sites devoted solely to and size cocktail dresses, or that’s what they claimed. I was intrigued when I saw these sites claiming to be devoted only to plus sizes so I analyzed. The do have some really nice things, however you can understand my bewilderment when I see that 1/2 the models are stick thin. This sight explains it deals with and sizes, leading you to believe the dresses are for bigger girls. But then you glance at the dress and the girl wearing it can’t weigh more than 110 pounds. I admit I’m really not precisely sure what comprises a bonus size but I’m fairly confident it’s not a size 2. For some reason I discovers this type of annoys me. The culture in the USA is one that makes twelve year old girls anorexic and puts 8 year olds on diets. I feel this situation is yet another example of what’s wrong with our society.
