Vat reduction stalls cherished numbers sales. The impending reduction in vat from 17.5% to 15% is having a detrimental effect on the sale of cherished numbers. Potential buyers are delaying purchases until after December 1st to save the 2.5%. It would be possible however to reserve the number now and pay for it after December 1st which would prevent them losing out.
