Organic Crib Bedding: High-class, “Greener” Slant To Unique Nursery Decor

On October 26, 2009 in Home

There is now a growing awareness amongst Americans that we live our lives surrounded by chemicals; many of which can pose significant health risks. Increasing numbers of expectant parents are taking these new bits of knowledge to heart while they busily put together a nursery and choose linens for their baby’s room.

Organic baby bedding is defined as baby bedding that is made from organically grown cotton, sometimes in combination with non-organic cotton or with hypoallergenic polyester filling. Natural organic cotton, hemp, and wool fibers are combined to create different types of organic bedding. Non-organic bedding can expose children to bad chemicals because their bodies can absorb them more than adults. Organic bedding offers a safer and ‘greener’ way to protect our children.
