Only high range electricity usage monitor can be used to obtain power data for big appliances like a washing machine and a dryer. Usually the smaller versions of the monitor are not capable of taking readings on big appliances and can be used only for small equipment like toaster, mixer and microwave. It is difficult to use them to identify energy consumption of heavy materials.
