My 3 Go-To Markets For Pulling Gold On The Auction House
On January 15, 2010 in Computers
Making gold in the wow auction house can be quite
simple if you know what you’re doing. Knowing what markets to
focus on is critical. Without that knowledge, you can lose a
lot of gold very quickly. Clearly, a wow auction house
guide like Mayle Winter’s “WoW Auction Mastery” highlights the best
markets, but what about the people who don’t have access to that
kind of information? For those people, I’m going to point out my top
3 markets for making gold on the auction house in
World of Warcraft.
1. Gems - The gems used for jewelcrafting are a giant market. Make sure to
keep to the gems that have both PVE and PVP uses. Stamina always
does well, and any stat that increases offensive
capabilities is a constant seller. Resilience does great if you can stock up and release a bunch right when a new arena season hitsstartsAvoid stats like parry and spirit.
2. Rare Recipes - You’ll see these on the auction house frequently at far lower prices than they should be. Check with
WoWhead and check how much they are worth, and if they are underpriced,
snatch them up and relist them. It’s a fast method to make
a few hundred gold in one sale.
3. Event items - Items such as small eggs, glasses of milk, and anything else that is
used in a repeating seasonal event. Stockpile these in advance, and then sell them en masse at inflated prices for a
huge infusion of gold.
Those 3 markets can give you a huge head start in the wow auction house. If you
can’t earn gold in those markets, you should probably stick to grinding or daily quests!
